When Nathan was home, his mother would make Yakamushi.  I don’t know how they came up with the name, but it is a very simple, inexpensive, quick and tasty dish.  Our entire family likes this and I don’t make it often enough (no longer!).  The ingredients are the recipe, measurements are to your taste and are based on how many people you are trying to feed.

ground beef, onions, carrots, green peppers (all chopped) and cooked rice (brown or white, but brown is healthier). I also add pepper, garlic powder, powdered ginger, and soy sauce (also set it out on the table for those who want more).
